Intuit delays Quicken for M...
A long-delayed update for the Mac version of Quicken has been delayed yet again, says Quicken PR manager Scott Gulbransen. The software is now expected in February 2010, having originally been announced for sometime in 2008. As recently as the last Macworld Expo, the company was forecasting a 2009 launch.

The software is expected to become Quicken Financial Life, but Intuit has not yet cemented a name. It should also finally take advantage of technologies native to Mac OS X Leopard, and gain an interface more distinct from that of its flagship Windows counterpart. Other planned features include a reconcile mode to go with a new register, and a Windows-to-Mac transfer option. Pre-orders are scheduled to open at the Quicken website on October 12th of this year.
