Handmark releases Astraware Board Games for iPhone |
Handmark has launched Astraware Board Games, an app for the iPhone and iPod touch that features eight board-games including chess, backgammon, ludo, checkers, reversi, Nine Men’s Morris, snakes and ladders, and tic-tac-toe. Pieces can be moved by sliding a finger across the touchscreen, while shaking the device will roll dice. The game offers several options for playing against computerized characters or competing with friends, using a local Wi-Fi connection for multiple devices or a "hot seat" function on one handset.Astraware Board Games can be downloaded from iTunes for $5. |
