FotoMagico 2.6 now supports...
Boinx software has released FotoMagico 2.6, the latest version of its photo presentation software. The update now supports Adobe Lightroom 2 libraries and includes a plug-in for Aperture. The new plug-in allows users to take pictures directly from Aperture and export them to FotoMagico for slideshow presentations. Alternatively, the Aperture libraries can also be accessed from the iMedia browser located within FotoMagico.

The program now supports libraries from Lightroom 2, accessible from the iMedia browser. Other media can also be imported, including GarageBand songs, iLife sound effects, iTunes content, or any other files on the hard disk.

FotoMagico allows presentations to be created from digital pictures, while retaining the best possible resolution. Controls are provided to match the white balance or color tones between multiple pictures. A wide variety of transitions can be applied, with support for background music.

FotoMagico 2.6 is available as an Express version that only supports iPhoto libraries or drag-and-drop from other applications. The Pro version supports Aperture and Lightroom, and allows users to adjust colors and set watermarks. Pro also offers a teleprompter and allows customized export options and export to HD movies. Express is priced at $50 while the Pro version can be obtained for $130.
