Phone Aid ($3) is an application that contains simple spoken instructions and pictures which guide a user through the steps of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation or how to act when someone is choking. The application also comes with 24 A-Z First Aid guides that cover the most common injuries and illnesses such as, drowning, convulsions, burn injuries and snake bites. Phone Aid is available for free until October 26th as an introduction offer.Tee Times (Free) allows users to easily access BallBound.com from their iPhone. This allows users to select an area, find golf courses in that area and then book a tee time right from the iPhone's 3G, Edge or WiFi connection. The application gives users access to nearly 1,400 course worldwide and tee time availability can change from day to day.
Vocalia 1.1 ($8) is an English speech recognition tool for the iPhone. It allows users to simply speak a contacts name and it will then browse through the users contact list and find the name closest to the one spoken. The new update has added support for larger address books, up to about 5000 contacts and improved Vocalia's launch time.
Bullfrog Touch 1.1 ($5) is a touch based game for that has players defending their home from an invasion of bugs. The new versions has added 25 new levels, redesigned game controls, a new Save and Exit option and several various other bug fixes.
PCalc 1.1 ($10) is an advanced calculator that includes additional features not found in the iPhone's default calculator. It includes an RPN mode, an extensive set of unit conversions, a paper tape, engineering and scientific notation, as well as support for hexadecimal, octal and binary calculations. The update adds new switchable button layouts, calculator themes and a new horizontal layout with improved button placement.
