E-on Software has introduced the Vue 7 line of 3D environment tools, bringing in two additional packages including Vue 7 Complete and Vue 7 Pioneer. Complete is intended for 3D artists and small studios, offering more popular features -- such as 3D export, EcoSystem painting and wind and breeze effects -- without some of the extra capabilities intended for larger operations. The set also costs less than alternatives such as Vue Infinite.Pioneer is the new entry-level software in the series, replacing Vue Easel. The landscape creation tools are designed for casual artists or beginners to 3D, while retaining the option for modules that expand capabilities. The next step up in functionality from Pioneer is Esprit, followed by Pro Studio, which falls right beneath the Complete package.
For professionals, E-on is introducing Vue 7 Infinite, a standalone 3D environment program for multimedia, architecture and graphics design. Also available is Vue 7 xStream, an integrated product for users that work with other 3D programs.
More information regarding the Vue 7 lineup for Mac should be available soon, though no dates have been provided. Pioneer and Esprit will be priced at $50 and $200, respectively, while the Pro Studio version is set for $400, and Complete at $600. Professionals will have to spend $900 for Infinite, or $1,500 for xStream.
