Adobe launches Flash Player 10, supports CS44, more |
Adobe has released Adobe Flash Player 10 for the Mac. Fast on the heels of Adobe shipping its Creative Suite 4, Flash Player 10 arrives with CS 4 integration and collaborative features. It supports custom filters and effects (created in Adobe Pixel Bender), and 3D transformations and animations.Flash Player 10 also supports GPU hardware acceleration and offers a new, flexible text layout engine. It adds vector data type for better error checking, dynamic streaming and the Speex audio codec, which offers a low-latency alternative for voice encoding. |
