Dell E Slim photographed, detailed in leak

Dell's upcoming E Slim netbook may have at last been identified, if a leak at Engadget proves authentic. The system uses the same general design language of the Inspiron Mini 9 but is clearly larger and contains different features. Tellingly, the system is running Windows Vista rather than Windows XP; the latter software is only allowed by Microsoft on netbooks with screens at roughly 10 inches or smaller.

The system varies from the look of the hardware spotted in a Tesco leak but contains similar specifications. A 1.33GHz Atom processor will reportedly sit at the system's heart along with 1GB of RAM. Other details aren't shown but have previously been rumored to include a 40GB hard drive and a much crisper 1366x768 resolution versus the 1024x600 of the Mini 9.

A launch is anticipated by the end of the year and could come soon. Pricing isn't known, though the Tesco details pointed to a roughly $530 price in the UK that may hold in the US.
