IK Multimedia unveils accessories for StompIO system
IK Multimedia has released a range of accessories for StompIO, its guitar and bass amp and FX system. A GPU Stage Case, Expression Pedal, Double Switch, Gig Bag, and Tour Rack are now available. The GPU (Guitar Processing Unit) Stage Case is a metal shell that protects a Mac Mini or mini PC that is plugged into the StompIO floor controller on stage. The Expression Pedal can be connected to any MIDI-controllable equipment, allowing "wah-style" action and featuring metal construction.

The Double Switch allows for two channels of on-off foot control, connecting to the interface using an include 1/4 inch jack 18 inch cable. The Gig Bag can be used to transport the StompIO, GPU Stage Case or computer, pedals, and switches. Musicians using a rack mount computer can connect it to the Tour Rack, a 14ru rackmount featuring an integrated 17 inch LCD monitor.

StompIO is a stage controller system for guitarists and bassists that allows amp and effects functions to be performed using a computer, on-stage or in a studio. The system emulates hardware structures, allowing control of the software through the StompIO device without need for a keyboard, mouse, or monitor.

The GPU Stage Case is priced at $130, with the Expression Pedal and Double Switch both for $100. The Gig Bag is available for $100, while pricing for the Tour Rack is available from IK Multimedia. All of the accessories are currently shipping.
