Apple alerts customers of adapter recall via SMS |
Last Friday, Apple announced that it was recalling faulty electrical adapters that shipped with the iPhone 3G. Apple is now sending out SMS text messages to to AT&T subscribers, warning them of the problem, according to a report. The close connection between Apple and AT&T has allowed Apple to communicate directly with a vast number of its customers.In detail, the message alerts people of the exchange program for the faulty adapters, and provides a link for obtaining additional details. |
