DataViz to release Documents To Go for iPhone
DataViz will be releasing a version of its Documents To Go application for the iPhone, featuring a notification sign-up at its website. The company has been aggressively expanding its software onto the popular mobile platforms, including BlackBerry, Palm, Windows Mobile, and Symbian. Depending on the device and package, users can view, edit, or create Microsoft Office content including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint projects. PDF, TXT, JPEG, and BMP files are also supported.

Files can be accessed from flash cards, sent to the mobile as email attachments, or synced from a PC. If a project is started on one computer and sent to the mobile to be edited further, none of the formatting is lost or reduced, claims DataViz. Some of versions available for other platforms support password protected files, charting, and spell checking. DataViz has not yet announced a release date or what packages and specific capabilities will be offered for the iPhone.
