Apple has seeded its Mac OS X developers a new private build of the upcoming Mac OS X 10.5.5 update. A source has informed AppleInsider that on Monday a new build titled 9F17 was released, alongside the public release of the iPhone 2.0.2 firmware. Sources also claim the build introduces five new fixes, bringing the total number of code corrections for v10.5.5 to 120. More specifically, Apple is said to have addressed issues related to Back to My Mac, Mail syncing, CoreAnimation, iCal Invitations and read-only local calendars. The release comes less than a week after build 9F13 and is reported to contain no known issues.
