German company Reinda has begun producing Carry-On Pockets to protect 20- or 24-inch iMacs. The pockets are produced from a "hard-wearing fabric," designed to be waterproof for transportation outdoors. The pockets are also padded for impact protection, and have a built-in strap for slinging around a shoulder. According to Reinda, an iMac can be strapped and secured in approximately 15 seconds. The design wraps around an iMac while leaving the foot exposed, allowing a safe way to set it down while protecting main components. Reinda says, meanwhile, that it is also developing pockets for the MacBook, MacBook Pro and iPod. The current products are available from Reinda for €90-€95 ($130-$140).
