Sonos update adds MIMO support, more |
Sonos System Software 2.6 was released today by Sonos, a developer of wireless multi-room music systems for the home environment. The software update includes support for SonosNet, MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output), larger music collections, NasBasic firmware and Mac OS X Leopard. Customers have been experiencing various issues when trying to connect to a Mac computer running OS X Leopard but version 2.6 should solve all of those conflicts.Customers who register or upgrade their system withe Sonos 2.6 will receive more than $200 worth of DRM-free music offers from Classical.com, eMusic and LiveDownloads.com. These offers provide customers with a wide choice of albums, tracks and concerts. Customers will more specifically receive, three DRM-free albums, one classical, one jazz and one world fro Classical.com, 50 DRM-free music downloads and one free audio book from eMusic and 10 DRM-free concerts (MP3) from LiveDownloads.com.
