The update, according to Apple, includes fixes to improve stability and performance, but the company did not provide any other details. The 48MB update is available via Mac OS X Software Update and via the Web. The software requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later for iTunes functions and Mac OS X 10.4.10 or later for iPhone support.
