PhotoTiles 1.0 tiling software released
Limit Point Software has released PhotoTiles 1.0, an application used to create a single image of a tiled group of cells that can be images or other visuals. PhotoTiles supports drag-and-drop image creation, with flexible dimensions and sizes. It can be configured for cell size and spacing and has a user-configurable number of columns. The software is a universal binary, working with Mac OS X 10.4 and higher. It retails for a $10 donation via the website.
PhotoTiles 1.0 also includes adjustments to cell frames and image borders. It will allow individual file names to be placed beside or above/below cells with configurable fonts. PhotoTiles is a part of Limit Point Software's Utilities Bundle that includes an array of small-task-oriented programs. The bundle includes utilities for movie and image processing, file management, batch email, web crawling, URL resource downloading, and more. Users can register once and own all the utilities in the bundle. Upgrades are free, and future products will be included.
