Parallels Server offers virtual support for four-way Symmetric Multi-processing, allowing users to assign up to four virtual cores to a machine for improved performance. It includes support for ACPI BIOS, 32GB of physical memory, Intel VT-x technologies, and several other advanced features for improved performance over the client version. A fully scriptable multiclient management console allows users to manage virtual and physical servers locally or remotely, while the console's APIs are completely open, scriptable with Python. In addition, Parallels Server includes an integrated toolset to enhance and simplify the environment, and a software development kit, allowing vendors to integrate Parallels into their products.
