Aspyr delays Call of Duty 4...
Aspyr, a developer well-known for porting Windows games to the Mac, has announced that its conversion of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has been delayed. The title was originally slated to ship in early- to mid-summer, but is now said to have been "pushed back slightly," and should ship sometime in the third quarter of 2008. It is expected to go on preorder soon for $50.

A sequel to Activision's earlier, World War II-themed first-person shooters, CoD4 makes a transition to the present era, and drops players into a fictional war in the Middle East. Gamers continue to take on multiple perspectives, switching between a US Marine and a British SAS operative. The game also features extensive online play, though Aspyr has not confirmed the limits of the Mac version.
