Sydney Apple Store gains ne...
Further progress is being made on Apple's flagship Australian store, a MacNN source says. Located on the corner of George and King in Sydney, the store now has a large blue billboard, asking city residents to "drop in soon." Previously, the site had only a uniform black shelter. Also a part of the new exterior is an illustrated wave of iPod nanos, spiraling out towards the viewer.

Pedestrians are not being allowed easy viewing of the interior, which is kept out of sight through a construction curtain. MacNN's source claims that the inside of the store is in rough shape at present, with "plaster and cables everywhere." It may however be ready soon, possibly in time for the beginning of Apple's WWDC conference, scheduled for June 9th in San Francisco.
