SpamSieve 2.7 ups requireme...
C-Command has released a new version of SpamSieve, a spam-filtering tool for Macs that relies on Bayesian algorithms. The software integrates with multiple e-mail clients, and evolves to more accurately block unwanted messages. It can decode messages intended to bypass filters, and incorporates both black- and whitelists, the latter of which can be compiled from Address Book, Eudora or Entourage in order to ensure common contacts are never blocked.

The v2.7 update makes several important changes, among which is the requirement of Mac OS X 10.4. Improvements include superior corpus speed and memory use, plus increased accuracy, with a special emphasis on HTML, URLs, image attachments and obfuscations. Fixes address the range of e-mails considered "uncertain" spam, and a Mail hang in Mac OS X Leopard, connected to labeling messages at the same time as new ones were being downloaded. SpamSieve costs $30, though the update is free.
