Portrait Professional heade...
Anthropics Technology has announced that Portrait Professional, a tool currently only available for Windows, is at last being ported to Mac systems. The software is intended mainly for professional photographers or graphic designers, by addressing common problems in the appearance of models. Using sliders, editors can remove blemishes, grease and sweat, smooth out pores and wrinkles, and adjust color factors such as hue, temperature and skin tan.

The program can additionally remove red-eye and whiten teeth and eyeballs; more advanced functions include the ability to adjust lighting, or even reshape a person's face, for instance by slimming fat in the jowls. The Mac version of Portrait Professional is due in May, although it is not known if or when Max support for RAW files and 16-bit TIFFs will become available.
