CrushFTP 4.7 adds hacking protection
CrushFTP.com has released the latest version of its file transfer utility, CrushFTP 4.7. The update adds additional hacking protection, expanded CrushSQL abilities, a new PostBack plugin for integrating better with existing business needs, specific user based controls, and enhanced custom reporting abilities. The uploading from the WebInterface has been improved to handle multiple batches of files, each with its own custom form information with the batches details.
Other changes include the ability to slow down responses when a hack attempt is suspected, the crushsql plugin now can handle individual files instead of just folders and can now can make folder paths to be used instead of only allowing items to be at the "/" directory. Also added is a plugin 'PostBack' to call external URL's with file upload/download event data and the ability to restrict hours of the day a user can login. The new release also adds the ability to apply filename filters to users directory listings. (Hide specifically named files on a per user basis.).
CrushFTP 4.7 is priced from $30 for new customers, with updates available for free to existing 4.x users.
