VirtualHosting has put together a guide for developing Web sites that are designed for the iPhone. The author of the guide says "When developing an app for the iPhone, there are a number of things you should keep in mind. Apple has put together an extensive guide for iPhone developers." There is also a list of useful tools, and sites to which developers can submit their optimized Web apps.

iPhone-optimized games site debuts An a new iPhone game destination, Knibble iPhone, has debuted. The site offers casual games for free. Company officials said "Filling the iPhone game void, Knibble is leading the charge with the largest offering of casual games for the iPhone for free. With a quick a tap on the screen, users have instant access to their favorite distractions including Sudoku, Bejeweled, Video Poker, Minesweeper and more coming soon."

GLX2 Script Editor for Revolution released GLX2 is a brand new script editor that integrates with Revolution 2.8.1. The software includes an enhanced debugger that enables developers to find and eliminate problems fast. And the work-in-progress feature helps find your place when you come back to a project later to make changes. Also included is tabbed browsing and auto-completion of tokens and handler names. Firefox 2.0.0.7 fixes security flaw A new release of the open-source Firefox web browser from Mozilla (2.0.7) has been released. The new version fixes a security flaw where QuickTime Media-Link files contain a qtnext attribute that could be used on Windows systems to launch the default browser with arbitrary command-line options. New fonts from Font Bros The Font Brothers have launched a series of new fonts for Mac OS X. They include additions from Fontalicious "Chick and Velcro fonts to the uber international Dokyo, the stencilly goodness of Trendy University, and a host of sweet Deejay dingbats"; and "Save Her," a tribute to environmental issues facing our planet.
