Comp USA has added the Apple TV priced at $250 to its website, but still lists the wireless media streaming set top box as unavailable.

AD Power Grip for Apple displays

Macessity has revealed a new AD Power Grip Bracket ($10) for Apple's 20- and 23-inch displays that allows users to mount the oversized power brick beneath a desk. The accessory features built-in coil tabs to wrap excess cable neatly, and each tab includes a notch to hold coiled cable in place. The AD Power Grip Bracket comes with mounting screws, and is constructed from galvanized steel.

Solved! released

Enigma Games has released Sovled!, a traditional jigsaw puzzle game that starts players off with 20-piece puzzles spread over five categories. The game challenges players to work up to 35-piece puzzles for intermediate games, only to finally face the 63-piece expert level puzzles. Challenge mode imposes time limits and incurs point reductions for errors.

MIT project leads to game design

A research project at the MIT Media Lab titled The Restaurant Game is already underway, requiring the participation of thousands of game players. The game, which runs on Mac OS X, will algorithmically combine the gameplay experiences of thousands of players to create a new game. In a few months the heads of the project will apply machine learning algorithms to the data collected through the multiplayer Restaurant Game to produce a new single-player game, which will be entered into the 2008 Independent Games Festival. Researchers add that everyone who plays the Restaurant Game will be credited as a game designer.

BlackBelt PHP tool released

FMWebschool has released BlackBelt, a PHP tool enabling users to continue using CDML with FileMaker 7/8 and FileMaker Server Advanced. BlackBelt enables FileMaker users to become current and take advantage of new features in FileMaker 8 while continuing to serve CDML websites via FileMaker 7 and 8. BlackBelt is available for $150 through March 6th, after which the price is scheduled to rise.
