Sandvox 1.1 adds new designs, snapshots
Karelia Software has released Sandvox 1.1, an update to its website building application for Mac OS X. The update brings eight gorgeous new site designs, offering more than 35 designs from which users can choose to begin. It also now adds a comprehensive and completely integrated Help feature, including step-by-step "How do I...?" questions and answers. In addition, version 1.1 adds a snapshot feature to cleanly save work that's in progress and "greatly" improves Flash file support. The Pro version adds the ability to manage raw HTML in several contexts: as pages and pagelets, custom HEAD elements, file preludes [for setting cookies, security sessions, PHP scripts] as well as the ability to view and validate the HTML source for elements. Sandvox 1.1 is available for $50 (Standard) and $80 (Pro); it is a Universal Binary, requires Mac OS X "Tiger" 10.4.4, and is available in English, Danish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, and Traditional and Simplified Chinese.
