Updated AirPort software for C2D laptops
Apple today released AirPort Update 2006-002, an update to its software for wireless connectivity, for its new Core 2 Duo-based laptops, including the 15- and 17-inch MacBook Pros and the 13-inch MacBook. Apple only said that the 1.3MB update, available via the Software Update and via the Web, improves AirPort compatibility with the aforementioned computers. The download requires Mac OS X 10.4.8 or later. Separately, Apple earlier this week released an Aperture 1.5.2 update, while Microsoft accidently posted a pre-release of its Office v11.3.1 update, but later pulled it, acknowledging that it was leaked to the public prematurely.
