The adapter plugs into the iPod's headphone jack to relay music, photos, and video through UHF channels to a compatible TV, such as many in-car models already available in Japan. The transmitter includes an iPod cradle and a special cable; although the hardware's use of standard RCA jacks allows for DVD players or virtually any other video source to broadcast a signal, according to Electronista. The PCK-UAV ships within the next few days in variants with and without an iPod mounting kit from $90.
