H&R Block releases TaxCut f...
H&R Block has re-released TaxCut, the Mac edition of its do-it-yourself tax preparation software. The company discontinued its Mac version last year due to 'small participation from Mac users,' but says the new release includes many of the missing features that the older version lacked. TaxCut is available in three editions which include TaxCut Premium Federal, TaxCut Premium Federal+State, and TaxCut Premium Federal+State+e-file. TaxCut Premium Federal offers personal tax guidance from form 1040EZ to Schedule C, while TaxCut Premium Federal+State offers the same tax aid but factors in State taxes as well as Federal. TaxCut Premium Federal+State+e-file encompases tax aid for both Federal and State taxes, and helps users eligible for e-filing to reduce paperwork and receive refunds at an accelerated rate. TaxCut Premium Federal is priced at $20, while TaxCut Premium Federal+State is available for $30. TaxCut Premium Federal+State+e-file is priced at $60. All versions require Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later.
