The grand opening is scheduled for Saturday, November 11th at 10:00 a.m. CST, and will hold the usual opening ceremonies for Apple retail locations. A listed building planning application under consideration by Glasgow City Council recently revealed what will become the first Apple Store in Scotland, marking Apple's expanding retail efforts on a global level. Plans also surfaced in New York City confirming a third Manhattan retail store at SL Green Realty Corp.'s retail joint venture at West 34th Street, just west of Fifth Avenue and south of the company's flagship Fifth Ave Store location.
