Microsoft's Internet Explorer still claims 81.28 percent of the market -- down from 82.1 percent -- and Firefox rose to 12.96 percent from 12.46 percent. Netscape grabbed 0.83 percent of the browser market in October, followed by Opera at 0.61 percent and Mozilla at 0.24 percent. Safari and Firefox continue to gain share from Microsoft's browser, despite the latest release of Internet Explorer 7.
