A representative likens the problem to being unable to watch your TV in full glare. Of course, the trouble here is that the sensor bar represents a much smaller target than a TV. Some gamers may be forced to reposition displays to use the console. Worse, it doesn't seem like Nintendo could easily improve a sensor with such unique functions.
