The correction brings some especially bad news for Wii fans: an Activision representative is quoted as saying, "That was a misprint on Game Informer’s part. We wanted to clear up that the Wii version will not have online multiplayer, but is being developed to take advantage of the unique controls and provide an amazing single player interactive experience.” This is a rather weird decision for Nintendo's first Internet-enabled console, especially since the Wii port will ship a few months after the 360 and PS3 versions, which are due Q4 2006.
