RouteBuddy GPS mapping app released
RouteBuddy.com has released RouteBuddy 1.0, its GPS-enabled mapping application for Mac OS X. Users can connect their USB Garmin, USGlobalSat, or NMEA device to a Mac to synchronize Waypoints, Routes, and Tracks. Key features of RouteBuddy include the ability to download as well as upload Waypoint, Route, and Track data; search capability of map data with FastSearch; recording of live GPS data and route tracking; support for connecting multiple GPS devices to one Mac; the ability to open several RouteBuddy Map pages simultaneously; view and print functionality for full-screen maps; smooth syncing data with a GPS device; and the ability to purchase road mapping for worldwide countries. RouteBuddy 1.0 requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later, and is priced at $100.
