Digital Lifestyle Outfitters (DLO) today announced a new Limited Edition Cross Case for Apple's updated U2 Special Edition iPod. The Cross Case features red and black soft leather with a large, distinctive red cross on the front. It also features a unique design that allows both fourth- and fifth-generation iPods to fit equally well, which it says is "a first" for any leather case available today. Coinciding with the release of the new U2 Special Edition iPod, the company is now offering a limited number of Cross Cases are available for purchase exclusively online for $40. The DLO Cross Case joins the rest of DLO's Relaxed Leather cases for a limited time only. Each has its own unique look and feel but all feature a protective flip-over cover, a handy inside pocket to store ID, credit card or cash and a leather covered belt clip for an easy secure fit.
"The DLO Cross Case is made from genuine leather that ages and gets softer as it is worn and broken in," DLO told said. "Inside, a play-thru design offers access to all iPod controls, dock connector and headphone port. An expanding body style and dual headphone openings even allow the Cross Case to fit both 4G and 5G style iPods."
