Indeed, at least one recent blog posting indicates that Apple has been hiring to the Aperture team. Apple in April released a much anticipated, but tardy v1.1 update to its professional application for photographers that brought Universal Binary support. In addition, the company cut the price on Aperture by $200 to $299, saying that it was hoping to get the application in the hands of more professionals. The company, today, offered yet another update Aperture 1.1.1 addresses several issues related to performance, stability, color correction, and display compatibility. "As far as we're concerned Aperture is the number one application in the category and we intend to do everything possible to keep it that way," Paulsen told the publication.
