The EyeBud 800, which is expected to reach the masses in the first half of 2006, will be priced at or around $600, and will provide a viewing experience similar to watching a 105-inch display from a 12-foot distance. The EyeBud system uses a separate control module--roughly the size of the iPod--that includes a rechargeable battery pack, according to a report from the Seattle Post.
