Navicast 3.1 Web TV system ...
Barsark today released a new version of the Navicast Web TV system: Navicast 3.1 delivers new new features such as automatically generated thumbnail images for each movie, all new full screen mode, faster movie uploads, improved UI and more. The company said that the updated Navicast software now offers a new full screen mode right from the HTML based channel, allowing users to enjoy movies in full screen: "It's absolutely stunning how beautiful Navicast looks on a big screen plasma TV or projector." With Navicast eZender, users can easily set thumbnail images for each movie, offering users a preview in the Navicast Channels movie list. Host packages are available starting at $160 per month.

Other new features in Navicast 3.1 include manual adjustment of aspect ratios of movies before publishing; improved upload speed and stability, and support for more movie input formats (3gpp, 3gp, mpeg, mpg and others). Navicast is a professional multi channel and multi user web TV system that is drag and drop easy to use. The Navicast web TV system consists of two parts, a movie publishing and system management tool, Navicast eZender, and a streaming web TV channel where the viewers can watch the published movies. Movies are published to the web TV channel via drag and drop. Navicast eZender automates the whole publishing process, movie compression, thumbnail image creation, upload and indexing. Easy enough for kids to use, yet powerful enough to meet the demanding needs of large multinational organizations. Navicast eZender is available for both Windows and Macintosh computers. A free two week Navicast trial is available from the company's website.
