Xmultiple has announced its new FlashPoint "ShareDrive", a USB flash drive capable of transferring files between flash drives without USB bridges or an intermediary computer. "Sharing-On-The-GO" (SOTG) technology is embedded into Xmultiple's ShareDrive line of pen drives to easily download and upload files between the ShareDrive and any other USB memory peripheral, such as Apple's iPod. Powered by a rechargeable lithiom-ion battery, ShareDrives are available now in 128MB ($70), 256MB ($90), 512MB ($116), 1GB ($170), and 2GB ($230) capacities and feature automatic USB battery pack power management with a low-battery power indicator.
