Apple took home Silver Awards for both the fourth-generation iPod and iPod mini in the 'Products for the Home' category (Yellow Pencil) and a Silver Award (Yellow Pencil) for the Cinema Display in the 'Product for Work and Industry' category. The report also notes that Ive received a special award in recognition of his world-class achievements in design: the D&AD president's award for Outstanding Contribution to the Industry. The award, chosen by the D&AD president himself, was described as "perhaps the biggest professional recognition" for Apple's design guru.
