Dartware offers Mac mini-based network 'appliance' |
Dartware today launched its InterMapper Appliance, a compact computer that comes with the InterMapper networking software pre-installed for simple deployment. The appliance bundles an unlimited version of Dartware's InterMapper software and a 1.25GHz Mac mini (with 1GB of RAM and Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger). The company says the device can monitor thousands of devices. InterMapper's active maps can provide a visual, realtime view of traffic flows through and between critical network devices and links. The bundle also includes a separate InterMapper Remote license and a twelve-month maintenance contract for the software. The InterMapper Appliance is available now for $3,300 and will monitor an unlimited number of devices.
