| Secured Digital Applications today announced the opening of a second Apple retail center by its subsidiary Gallant IT Holdings, one of the leading Apple retailers in Malaysia. The store, AppleCentre@Hartamas, will expand on the "digital lifestyle" concept developed by Gallant and offers a one-stop showroom of retail products integrated by the Gallant staff for consumer use and will also have a training facility. Gallant, which plans to open a third store during 2005, projects sales of approximately $1.5 million for AppleCentre@Hartamas for 2005. The new center will be located in the Hartamas Shopping Centre in Sri Hartamas, a suburb of Kuala Lumpur. Gallant is a "Tier 1" Apple reseller with an existing Apple Center in the Mid-Valley Mega Mall in Kuala Lumpur; it says it has an estimated 20 percent market share of Apple products in Malaysia. Gallant also operates a second division involved in the implementation of information technology projects for business and educational institutions and recently was awarded nine new contracts to supply hardware, software and training to nine educational institutions in Malaysia.
The upcoming Apple retail center is divided into seven conceptual zones for such items as computer hardware, digital music, PDAs and smartphone. The store will offer a full line of Apple computers, software, peripherals and accessories including iPods and iPod accessories.
