| Apple today released iTunes 4.7, which brings support for the nine new iTunes Music Stores as well adds a new 'Artist Alerts' feature. Users can now be automatically notified via email when an artist has a new song available at the iTunes Music Store. iTunes 4.7 also includes "support for copying photos to an iPod photo, the ability to show duplicate songs in your library, and other performance improvements." Apple also released its new iPod Updater 2004-10-20, which includes iPod Photo Software 1.0 for use with iPod Photo as well as the same iPod software included in iPod Updater 2004-08-06 for all other iPod models.
