Apple offers FCP features, other demos at IBC 2004
Apple today exhibited at IBC 2004 in Amsterdam, which is taking place at the Rai Exhibition and Congress Centre in Amsterdam (the Netherlands). The International Broadcasting Conference (IBC) exhibition, which runs through Sept. 14, brings together over 1,000 companies and 40,000 attendees in a showcase of the latest technology in broadcasting and media. Apple's spacious booth, not quite as large as the one at Apple Expo in Paris, focused on its line of professional audio/video editing applications as well as its Power Mac and Xserve products. In an unusual move, Apple also discussed forthcoming features of Final Cut Pro. We have an image gallery from Apple's Booth.

Located in hall 7 (lot 7.621/7.900), Apple provided demos on its recently introduced Production Suite, a bundle of its software solutions designed for film and video as well as showcased its new 30-inch displays. Apple also had a single iMac G5 on display, though there was no keyboard attached. Other products at the booth included 15"/17" PowerBooks, Xserve, XserveRaid, Xsan, Power Mac G5, 20"/23" Apple Cinema Displays, Final Cut Pro HD, DVD Studio Pro 3, Motion, Shake, Logic Pro, and Soundtrack.
