The $50 suite is expected to available on January 16 (and is available for Jan 16 delivery). An $80 iLife '04 Family Pack version offers installation on up to 5 computers in a single household, while Apple's iLife '04 Up-to-Date program offers the suite for $20 to those who purchased a Mac (without iLife '04 pre-installed) after January 6. Apple notes that a DVD drive is required to install GarageBand and iDVD.
