Up until about 5:00pm today (8/28) it was listed with an estimated ship date of Aug. 29. Tonight, I checked the site and they've given a new estimated ship date of September 26! Quite a change for one day!" New orders at the Apple Store have an estimated ship date of "4-6 weeks". Update: One reader says his ship date was changed back to on or before August 29th without any explanation: "Order status started out today as 'on or before (OOB) 8.29.03', then late evening date changed to 'OOB 9.26.03' and then after 12 AM PST order status changed back to 'OOB 8.29.03'! Order placed minutes after APPLE STORE updated for G5 orders."
