It's about the USB 2.0 controller chipset on MDD Power Mac 1.25GHz and 1.4GHz motherboards. According to this article, the controller is made by NEC, model number µPD720101. This is the link for the article; The article is in Korean, but basically what it describes the NEC USB 2.0 controller. It also mentions about the driver saying that Mac version is not available yet. Here is the link for the controller [on NEC's site in English]. It looks like we already have USB 2.0 built-in Power Macs. I guess it‚s just matter of time. Hopefully, Apple will add the driver to an updater soon."
