TiVo, Aspyr announce Rendezvous products
TiVo, Brother and Aspyr have announced new products that incorporate Rendezvous, Apple's wireless networking technology. "Using Rendezvous, consumer devices such as stereos and digital video recorders can automatically find and "talk" to any Macs on their local wired or wireless network, making it possible for users to stream audio from iTunes to their home stereo and display iPhotos on their TVs."

TiVo is planning on offering a premium service package that will use the Rendezvous technology to automatically see Macs connected to a network, and allow customers to listen to shared music or view photos through their TV.

Brother has announced the first Rendezvous enabled printer for workgroups; the HL-5070N Laser Printer, which is "completely configured by just turning it on."

Aspyr's new racing game, NASCAR Racing 2002 Season, "improves the multiplayer network gaming experience by making it easy for players to find and join games." Aspyr also plans on making all future network enabled games Rendezvous comptatible.
