Office for iOS references appear on Microsoft support site
References to iOS Office apps are appearing on Microsoft's support website, reports say. The French version of the site mentions an "Excel for iPad;" in another translation, references to that app are joined by ones for "PowerPoint for iPad" and "Office Mobile for iPhone." English-language documents are missing any reference to Office for iOS.

A suite of official mobile Office apps has been expected for sometime, and is in development by Microsoft, but despite leaks the company has remained tight-lipped on any details. The suite is typically expected to launch early next year, potentially around February or March. iOS should also just be one of a few mobile platforms to get the apps, the other main option being Android.
