Apple pulls TechNote after ...
A MacNN reader notes that Apple recently posted a TechNote for developers, but later pulled after criticism and feedback from developers:
"Apple has released one of the most idiotic and revolting tech notes in their history, telling developers not to use C++, not to use resource forks, not to use file types and creators, not to do a great many things that give the Macintosh an advantage over Windows and Unix. After a couple days of constant streams of email and list messages from angry developers, Apple pulled the tech note from the web site. (Go to [Carbon Lists Archives] (name/password: archives/archives) and look for the thread on 'TN2034'."
