Clear to-do list app comes to Mac; iOS title gets update
Realmac has released a promised Mac version of Clear, its formerly iOS-only to-do list app. The software relies on a minimalist design, encouraging users to simply start typing to create lists or notes. The Mac edition supports mouse, keyboard, or trackpad control, and viewing lists in multiple windows, which enables dragging items from one list to another.

Clear for iOS has been updated to support a new feature in both apps, iCloud sync; a list saved on one device should automatically become available elsewhere. The iOS app has also gained switching between lists by swiping from the edge of the display, and the ability to quickly convert blocks of text into lists. After copying text elsewhere, going into Clear and shaking a device will paste the content, which is automatically broken up into tasks.

For Thursday only, Clear for Mac is $7; the price goes up to $10 on Friday. Users must be running OS X 10.8.2 or better. Clear for iOS is $2, and requires iOS 6.0.
