Afternoon tech news: Handspring has unveiled three new wireless PDAs which combine a handheld organizer, a cell phone and Web browsing functionality starting at $400; The judge in Microsoft's on-going anti-trust proceedings has named a Boston University law professor as mediator in the case; Matsushita has developed a new DVD technology that will reportedly be able to store 50 GB of data per disc side.
